Bruce D. Snyder's Resume (PDF)
Letter to the Editor
August 2010
Since my election in 2006, it has been my privilege and honor to represent citizens Rochester's Third Ward as City Councilman. Over this time I have worked with a number of you, as neighborhood groups or as individuals. I've heard from many that my prompt response to e-mails and telephone calls is appreciated.
Many candidates are going door to door soliciting input and asking for support. I feel it's important to address why you won't see me at your door. Due to the residual effects of polio, I communicate with constituents through other means. I assure you this has not limited my ability to provide you with the strong advocacy sometimes needed as councilman. Nor has it hampered my ability to communicate with you and learn what you feel is important -- it merely changes how that information is exchanged.
I stand firmly on the grounds of communication and community. Your thoughts and concerns are important to me. I am available by phone and e-mail any time or at Caribou Coffee North every Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m.
I have the drive, determination and dedication to serve you well. I would appreciate your vote on August 10th.
Bruce D. Snyder

Letter to the Editor

Bruce Snyder is not a single-issue candidate. In his past eight months serving the Third Ward, Bruce Snyder dedicates many hours per week to City Council business. In this time he has voted for developers, for neighbors and on several issues that have faced Rochester. The commitment he has proven by attending City Council Meetings before he was elected, researching issues and communicating with members of the Third Ward is what the residents of the Third Ward need. Snyder votes on issues according to what is best for the city of Rochester and our community. I trust Bruce Snyder to fairly represent our needs and I encourage you to do so also.
